Pursuit of Proverbs 31 Review and Giveaway

*Giveaway now over, but please read on for my review of this great Ebook.

I am excited to share a new book with you by Amy Bayliss.  She has helped me in my blogging venture and is the one who designed my blog.  Amy is an inspiration to me and amazes me with all that she accomplishes.

Amy has written a book about the Proverbs 31 Woman that is being released today.  She sent me a copy to review and is giving 3 copies away to readers of my blog.

When we think of the Proverbs 31 woman, we cringe a little (or a lot), don’t we?  We feel inadequate and like a failure.  Or we are so consumed trying to imitate her that we are overwhelmed and frustrated by the ideal.  After all, that is why we have the model to go by, right?  Wrong.

In Amy’s new book, Pursuit of Proverbs 31: A Timeless Biblical Study for the Modern Christian Woman, you will see the Proverbs 31 woman in a whole new light. Amy courageously tackled the subject of one who has been placed on a pedestal and used as a checklist of ideals for us to live by.

Amy wants us to see the myths we have created about the Proverbs 31 woman and replace them with truth.  She helps us to see that we are created with a purpose and that our goal is to ultimately find Jesus and our purpose in Him.

In this book, we will examine:

~Shattering the Myths

~The Real Woman of Proverbs 31

~Living in Relationship with God

~Be His Wife, His Helpmate

~ Creating a Biblical Marriage

~Being a Mother

~Home and Family Management

~Pocket Full of Resources – {I LOVED the Buy for Purpose, Not Potential.  I have a house full of stuff because I might need it or have a project for it.}

~ A Woman of Ministry

~Matters of the Soul

This is a Bible study, but you can also read it straight through.  Either way, you will be encouraged and blessed.

I recommend using it as a Bible study.  Christin, at Joyful Mothering, is leading a study of this book, along with Amy, beginning March 5.   Join over 100 women in going through Persuit of Proverbs 31. It will be a great community.

I hope that you will get the book.  Perhaps you can join us in the group study, or start your own in your community.  Women all over need this.

Now, 3 of you will be blessed with a copy of this book.  If you don’t want to wait until the giveaway ends, get your copy here.  With your purchase (or winning) of the book, you will have access to wonderful printables to help you along the way, as well as reader only downloads.
