Skin issues, body image…something most women struggle with. In this day and age, the pressure to look good is great. Tone and Tighten Saggy Skin is something we all want.

Benefits of Dry Body BrushingI am more concerned with helping you be healthy.

Skin sags for several reasons ~ weight loss, pregnancy, hormonal problems, hereditary issues.

Did you know that exercising our skin helps to tighten and tone it? We exercise our muscles through movement, but how do we exercise our skin? It also helps with cellulite ~ which is more than fat. Even skinny models have cellulite. Cellulite is an indication of what is going on inside your body.

How do we Tone and Tighten Saggy Skin?

Dry Skin Brushing

What does skin brushing do?

  • Exercises your skin and tightens and tones it
  • Brushes away dead skin cells and brightens your skin
  • Gets the lymph system moving to pump out the junk
  • Strengthens the immune system
  • Check out the video below that explains more

Skin brushing has been an anti-aging “secret” in Europe for years!! It helps with tightening and toning of skin so you don’t have saggy, loose skin. Even women who have lost over 100 pounds have tight skin from dry skin brushing and aren’t bothered by loose, saggy skin.

Your skin is an elimination organ. As you skin brush, toxins are being eliminated. Drink plenty of water to flush the toxins. This also helps with aging skin not being so thin and bruising so easily. This is also a great way to help fight the coming on of a cold or flu.

Use a natural fiber brush ~ available at some health food stores, but I have yet to find one that compares to T-Tapp’s brush. It is coarser than you will find most places and more effective.

When you begin brushing, it may be a little hard on  your skin.  Brush as though you were brushing butterfly wings. Yes, that light a touch. Don’t scrub, just stroke!

Teresa Tapp developed a method takes just 7 minutes and gives your skin (the largest organ of the body) a great workout, as well as exfoliate it to make your skin glow!

Body brushing is very effective before and after a workout and before a bath ~ add in essential oils and epsom salt for more benefits in the bath.

Drink Water

Drinking plenty of pure water during the day helps to flush out toxins and the lymph that is moving from the dry skin brushing.

Rebounding

Jumping on a rebounder is great exercise and a great way to pump out the junk that builds up in our system. It keeps the lymphatic system moving.

Walking

Just plain walking is great to pump the lymphatic system and get the junk out. Did you know that the heart of the lymphatic system is the calf? Walking pumps that nicely. Want a great inside walking program or learn to take your walking to a new, mindful level?

Try Step Away the Inches!
