Do you like homeschool conventions? Have you ever been to one? I have only ever been able to attend the vendor portion: I LOVE BOOKS!! Life on the farm gets so busy around convention time that I only have a chance to make the 45 minute drive to our state convention, browse the books and head home.

I was homeschooled in high school and home school conventions in our area consisted of different curriculum providers gathering in a hotel lobby to show you their books. It was a very limited number that were sold to homeschoolers. There were not many homeschoolers during that time.

Wow, how times have changed!! There are huge conferences in each state. And now, we have Great Homeschool Conventions!!

I really hope to be able to attend next year. I hope to be able to sit and soak in the wisdom and advice offered and be refreshed in my homeschooling from speakers like Dr. Ben Carson, Cathy Duffy and some of my blogging friends…Heidi St. John, Darlene Schacht and Ruth Schwenk.
