Father’s Day Ideas

Fathers Day, Happy Fathers Day

It is almost Father’s Day…a day to celebrate our fathers and husbands. A day set aside to say “thanks for all you do and we love you.”  Dads are so important. Take time to show them just how special they really are.

Start off with a special breakfast. At our home, Overnight Sausage Breakfast Casserole is how we celebrate a special day. Add some muffins or pancakes to make the meal even better.

Want an easy, but yummy lunch or supper? Try Crockpot BBQ Chicken. Always a favorite.

Or Crock Pot Beef Stew is always a great meal.

This cake looks DELICIOUS!

A blogger that I admire has even more ideas.

Make Dad feel special. Kids love to make homemade cards and crafts for gifts.

Our sons enjoyed going to Chick-Fil-A to make Father’s Day Gifts {for free}. They made a “Why I Love My Daddy” wheel, foam door hanger with a verse, a neat tape measure box that said “You Rule”.  We enjoyed a special Family Fun Campout this weekend at Chick-Fil-A. My way to camp.

Father's Day Gifts

Check the schedule of Lowes or Home Depot…they usually have a free wood projects on Saturdays. It is usually a special project for dads the Saturday before Father’s Day.

The Modest Mom put together a great selection of Father’s Day gifts ideas.

Know a Dad who loves A & W like my guys do here?

How about a Dad with a sweet tooth…these will be a hit!
